High-speed train lines under construction worldwide in key countries 2022

In 2023, China was the country with the largest high-speed network under construction, with over 13,000 kilometers of rail track under way. It made up most of the worldwide high-speed network construction that year, with Turkey coming in second with around 1,500 kilometers of constructions happening in the country.
