资源简介:
The aim of this study is to gather information on the extent to which employers provide supplementary training and further education. Furthermore the respondents were asked if the courses were run by private training providers, publicly provided or organized by the employer. The respondents were asked about different aspects of these activities, e.g. time consumption, costs and work scheduling. Furthermore the contents of the courses and what the workplaces'' hope to achieve were examined. Finally the workplaces were asked to evaluate the effects of the courses on the workplace. All questions were concerned with activities which took place in 2004. The study was meant to collect data for the use of a committee headed by the Ministry of Finance; the Tripartite Committee on Lifelong Learning and Education for Everyone on The Labour Market. The Ministry of Finance represented the government and headed the committee which the trade unions and employer''s organisations are members of. The purpose of the committee is to make recommendations on how to realise the goal of lifelong learning.
