With limited data, glass structure gene modeling (GSgM) can accurately simulate the properties or design the compositions of glass. In a single-component (Li2O, Na2O) varied Nd: phosphate glass, C-S-P models between the IR structural groups (S), properties (P) and composition (C) were established by GSgM, in which the emission cross-section (σemi),effective linewidth (Δλeff),fluorescence lifetime (τf), Judd-Ofelt parameters (Ω2, Ω4, Ω6)models all demonstrated satisfied accuracy. A mixed-alkali glass (PLN) was carried out to perform the S-P models validation. Results show that the predicted values were in good agreement with the measured values for glass composition and properties, the relative errors were within 0.6%.
