Plasmodium falciparum 3D7 subclone 10E was modified to include an endogenous C-terminal 3XHA epitope tag at the PfAP2-HS locus. Highly synchronous populations of parasite were harvested for Chromatin Immunoprecipitation of PfAP2-HS at the mature trophozoite. Stage at either 37 degrees Celsius or following three hours of heat shock at 42 degrees Celsius.
