Sediments were collected from Krossfjorden, Arctic and performed pre-processing and metagenomic DNA extraction. After quality confirmation, sample was sent for shotgun sequencing and sequencing was done in Illumina platform. Obtained metadata was uploaded in MGRAST server and retrieved all details regarding the taxonomic and functional profile of Krossfjorden microbes including bacteria, archaea, fungi and viruses.
