This study investigates the transcriptomic response of the Deep sea hydrothermal vent Epsilonbacteria Nitratiruptor sp. SB155-2 to cadmium (Cd) and copper (Cu) stress. Bacteria grew until reaching the late-exponential phase (i.e. after 4 days), after that metals were included, at the final concentration of 0.01mM for Cd and 0.05mM for Cu and incubated for 3h.
