The collection of geodata “Stands, passages and transit sites for Jenish, Sinti and Roma” contains information about the places reserved for the passage and stationing of the Jenic, Sinti and Roma, which predominantly lead a nomadic lifestyle. The establishment and administration of the territories is mainly the responsibility of the cantons and municipalities. At the national level, the Federal Office of Culture is responsible. The collection is published by the Federal Office of Culture in cooperation with the Foundation “Zukunft für Schweiser Fahrende” and the Federal Office for Spatial Development ARE.
