Fluorescent Photochromic Diarylethene That Turns on with Visible Light

A new
fluorescent photochromic diarylethene that can be activated
by irradiation with 405 nm light was synthesized. The turn-on mode
switching of fluorescence with visible light is favorable for application
to biological systems. The fluorescence quantum yield of the photogenerated
closed-ring isomer was as high as 0.8 in less or medium polar solvents,
and even in polar acetonitrile the yield was higher than 0.6.

一种新型的荧光光致变色二芳基乙炔化合物，可通过405纳米光照射实现激活。该化合物在可见光下荧光的开启模式切换对生物系统的应用尤为有利。在低至中极性的溶剂中，光生闭合环异构体的荧光量子产率高达0.8，甚至在极性丙腈溶剂中，其产率亦超过0.6。
