Data and code for "A floor and a ceiling for the advancing contact angle"

Data and code supporting the paper. The deposit contains a compilation of 68 liquid–solid systems from nine sources and five configurations, giving the maximum advancing contact angle against the static contact angle, together with the values digitized from the published figures of the cited sources and the scripts that produce the figures and the table of the paper. Every coordinate carries the provenance of the number, recorded separately as a value stated in the text or a value read from a figure, and values that were still rising at the highest speed an apparatus reached are marked as lower bounds rather than maxima. Figures 1 and 2 and Table I are reproduced from the deposited data alone. The transcription and digitization scripts read published papers and scanned reports that are under third-party copyright; those documents are not redistributed.
