Population structure and connectivity in Atlantic horse mussels

We investigate genomic population structure and connectivity in Horse Mussel (Modiolus modiolus) in the Northwest Atlantic, spanning populations from the Inner Bay of Fundy to eastern Newfoundland. We first assembled a genome using a combination of 50X Illumina coverage and ~8X Nanopore coverage, and then conducted restriction site associated DNA sequencing (RADseq) on 480 individual horse mussels. The data deposited here includes a genome assembly for M. modiolus, the long and short reads contributing to the genome assembly, and the individual RADseq library fastq files.
