VPRS 437 Proposed Line Files

This series consists of files relating to proposed extensions to railway and tramway lines in Melbourne and across the State of Victoria. Only some of these were subsquently built, including some that have now been closed. Numerous lines were never built, only partially completed or built using different alignments than those proposed in these files.The files contain memos, reports, estimates, internal railways publications and plans for proposed alignments and stations.
