资源简介:
Telemetry data were collected in marine waters of southeastern Alaska during April-May 2016. Initial tests were conducted in Auke Bay near Juneau, with the principal study conducted in Port Walter near the southern tip of Baranof Island. Survey missions were conducted with an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) equipped with an acoustic receiver to locate acoustic transmitters located at known locations and depths (deployed on stationary moorings or towed by boat) and free-ranging juvenile Chinook salmon. Results from fixed missions with pre-programmed routes and reactive mission using payload control (where the vehicle performed a search pattern maneuver after detecting a transmitter) were compared. The data include telemetry-based location estimates and measures of estimate quality. The data are in Excel format.
