Sequencing of scallop (Argopecten irradians) transcriptome exposed to PSTs

Paralytic shellfish toxins(PSTs) are an increasingly important source of pollution. Bivalves, as the main transmission medium, accumulate and metabolise PSTs while protecting themselves from damage. We exposed Argopecten irradians to PSTs during natural blooms from April to May and monitored the resulting PSTs contents. Samp;es from elimination processes were collected from transcriptome analysis.
