Gene regulatory signatures of aging in rhesus macaques

This project aims to understand how aging relates to signatures of gene expression and gene regulation in free-ranging rhesus macaques of Cayo Santiago, Puerto Rico. Particular questions being addressed include how the social and ecological environment act to influence the aging process through changes in gene regulatory functions.
