This dataset was originally obtained from the U.S. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. The objective of this dataset is to diagnostically predict whether a patient suffers from diabetes, based on certain diagnostic measurements contained within the dataset. These instances were selected from a larger database with several restrictions applied. Specifically, all patients included are women of Pima Indian descent who are at least 21 years old.
