Dataset for the manuscript "Beyond the 100-kyr and 41-kyr dichotomy: ~76- and ~52-kyr signals and forbidden periodicities in Quaternary glacial cycles" by Takahito Mitsui (Science Advances, in revision). Data_S1_formula.xlsx (Data S1; electronic version of Table S1) shows the calculation of the insolation-based inter-deglaciation intervals (T_ins) using the approximation formulae described in the Supplementary Materials. The caloric summer half-year insolation at 65N is computed from the orbital solution of Laskar et al. (2004) with the R package palinsol. The analysis code (Python notebooks using Pyleoclim) used to produce the figures will be added to this record as a new version upon acceptance. Version 2 (26 September 2026): corrected the type-2d formula (MIS 71-73 row: predicted T_ins 44.87 -> 44.58 kyr; mean absolute error unchanged at 0.8 kyr); replaced a #DIV/0! cell (local-mean obliquity period for the 1719-61 spacing, zero obliquity cycles) by "n/a".
