Variable Resolution Simulations over the Tibetan Plateau: insights from MPAS-A transitioning across Convective-Permitting, Gray Zone, and Quasi-Hydrostatic Scales

Here we present the results of a rolling initialization simulation of the plateau in July 2012,2013, and 2015 conducted by MPAS-A v7.0 It contains the diurnal cycle of the precipitation amount PA, precipitation frequency PF, and precipitation intensity PI in UTC+00:00~UTC+23:00. Several different resolutions constitute the experiment, and the results of the satellite remote sensing observations of IMERG and CMORPH are shown.
