本物种名单以鱼类、底栖动物、浮游动物和藻类分别在太湖、滇池、巢湖、长江、黄河、辽河、珠江、松花江流域的调查(2015年至2017年)和整编(1957年至2018年)数据为基础,整理出各个流域鱼类、底栖动物、浮游动物和藻类生物类群的优势物种和指示物种。数据包括:物种编号;分类信息,包括门、纲、目、科、属、种以及相对应的拉丁文;优势/指示物种出现流域;图片对应编码。物种名单包括2个名单,分别是优势物种名单,共计209条记录,指示物种名单,210条记录;附录,主要包括每个物种的图片。其中优势种的筛选原则为物种出现频率大于等于所有调查点数量的3%,指示种的挑选主要参考专家经验、资料描述、耐污值计算结果等得出。每个物种的对应图片选自实地拍摄或者网络高清图片完成。

Based on survey data (2015–2017) and compiled historical data (1957–2018) of fish, benthic animals, zooplankton and algae in eight major inland water bodies including Taihu Lake, Dianchi Lake, Chaohu Lake, Yangtze River, Yellow River, Liao River, Pearl River and Songhua River basins, this species list was developed to sort out the dominant and indicator species of each taxonomic group (fish, benthic animals, zooplankton, algae) across these basins. The dataset includes: species identification number; taxonomic information covering phylum, class, order, family, genus, species and their corresponding Latin scientific names; basins where the dominant/indicator species occur; and corresponding image codes. This dataset contains two separate species lists: a dominant species list with 209 records, and an indicator species list with 210 records. An appendix is also included, which primarily provides images of each species. The screening criterion for dominant species is that their occurrence frequency is no less than 3% of the total number of survey sites. The selection of indicator species is mainly based on expert experience, published literature descriptions, tolerance value calculation results and other relevant factors. The corresponding images for each species are sourced from field photographs or high-definition online images.
