Stratigraphic pollen samples were selected for analysis from the Kaneohe
Marine Corp Air Station on the Mokapu peninsula on Oahu at the edge of Kaneohe
Bay. In addition, three bags of sediment were examined for macrofloral remains.
Pollen and macrofloral remains were examined to identify prehistoric vegetation
in this area in conjunction with archaeological investigations.
