Geographic records of Pseudo-nitzschia species in Chinese coastal waters (1997–2023)

This dataset compiles literature-based records of Pseudo-nitzschia species occurrence and bloom status across the Chinese coastline between 1997 and 2023. Each entry includes information on sampling time, identified species, bloom occurrence (Yes/No), geographic location, and the original literature reference. This serves as the foundation for mapping temporal and spatial patterns of Pseudo-nitzschia along Chinese coasts and supports analyses of harmful algal bloom risks in the region.
