资源简介:
Extensive rhizobacterial culture collections were established from Arabidopsis thaliana grown in Reijerscamp soil (NL), Hordeum vulgare and Zea Mays grown in Askov soil (DK), and Lotus japonicus grown in Cologne Agricultural Soil (GE) (all natural soil). These culture collections were recultivated into large complex synthetic communities (Arabidopsis thaliana SynCom (AtSC - 447 members), Hordeum vulgare SynCom (HvSC -364 members), and Lotus japonicus (177 members)) and reinoculated onto the three hosts. In addition, all members of the three rhizobacterial culture collections were reconstituted into the SuperSynCom (SSC - 988 members) and inoculated similarly onto the three hosts. The goal was to investigate general and host-specific root colonization strategies of rhizobacteria and root microbiome assembly in complex community contexts. This was achieved by investigating both the taxonomic and functional microbiome composition.
