This study generated 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing data targeting the V3-V4 region to profile vaginal and gut microbiota in a mouse model of bacterial vaginosis.Bacterial vaginosis was induced by Gardnerella vaginalis in C57BL/6 mice. Vaginal fluid and fecal samples were collected and subjected to high-throughput sequencing to characterize microbial community composition.
