The Bacillus xiamenensis strain VV3 is a novel bacterium isolated from the fermented rice and showing the hyper activity in regards to the fibrinolysis production. This bacterium was isolated after boiling the rice for 45 minutes and was allowed for aerobic fermentation for 48 hours at room temperature (30 ± 2º C) . Strain VV3 is identified as Bacillus by 16s rRNA sequencing analysis and it is characterized as a rod-shaped, aerobic and gram positive bacterium.
