Data repository for Lo et al., Neuron, 2025 (Binge feeding aPC) For Ca2+ traces and neuromodulator traces from the miniscope recording, all traces can be found in the “miniscope_data” folder. Inside the folder, additional subfolders separate the recording data into different recording regions and cell types. The raw Ca2+ movies are excluded due to the large data size. Please contact the lead contact author of the paper if you want to access the raw, unprocessed data. The behavioral data (lick events, pump events, etc), accompanying the miniscope recording can be found in the “behavior_data” folder. Note the behavioral data is formatted with the separator “;” instead of “,”. The “,” was used for the decimal point (commonly used with “.”). This is due to the common computer formats in Germany. Optogenetics manipulation data can be found in the “aPC_optogenetics” folder, including eOPN3 and ChR2 data. Measurement of OT VGAT neuron projection intensity by brain regions is located in the “OT_axonal_projection_measures” folder. Since the raw whole-brain image files are too large, we excluded them here. 3-photon microscopy data on OB mitral cells are located in the “3PM_data” folder. In vitro patch-clamp recording data on aPC neurons can be found in the “aPC_slicework” folder. Source data for plotting figure panels in the paper can be found in the “source_data_fig” folder. Note that the annotation is based on the original submission of the manuscript (Lo et al., bioRxiv, 2023), so it is not aligned with the publication version of the manuscript. An overview file of the mice we used for the miniscope recording can be found in the “mouse_overview_sheet” folder. We documented which protocol, condition, food flavors, body weights, and other information.
