资源简介:
This repository provides dataset developed for the research study:\Evaluating Learning Strategies for Engineering Education through a Quality-of-Life Lens: A Leadership-Oriented Framework for Institutional Transformation\ Dataset contain anonymized student statements used in the study. The project supports replication, adaptation, and strategic use by other researchers, educators, and academic institutions aiming to align learning design with the evolving demands of Industry 5.0 and entrepreneurial university models. Paper abstract:As engineering evolves toward Industry 5.0 and entrepreneurial university paradigms, the role of engineers increasingly blends technical expertise with strategic, ethical, and human-centered management capabilities. This study presents a novel evaluation framework designed to support engineering management education by assessing the effectiveness of pedagogical strategies in developing both technical competencies and holistic student growth. Grounded in the World Health Organization’s Quality of Life (WHOQOL) model, the framework categorizes student reflections across psychological, social, ethical, and autonomy-related dimensions—offering a multi-faceted lens on student development. Implemented within a real-world engineering program, the framework is used to compare two learning methods and two reflection collection formats across diverse project domains. Findings reveal that project-based learning, when combined with interview-based reflective assessment, enhances student agency, emotional intelligence, and collaborative mindset—critical attributes for the engineers of the future. Importantly, the project application domain also influences educational outcomes, highlighting the strategic need to align curriculum design with real-world complexities. This research contributes to engineering management by offering a data-driven, student-centered approach to evaluating and optimizing learning strategies. It equips educational leaders with actionable insights to foster future-ready engineers capable of navigating technological and managerial challenges with agility and purpose.
