The miRNA profile between different pancreatic adenocarcinoma cells (A818.4, Capan-1) and different colorectal carcinoma cells (SW948, HT-29). The impact of a knockdown (kd) of function-relevant cancer stem cell markers (CD44v6, Tspan8, CD151, claudin7) on the miRNA profile. The kd cell miRNA profiles were compared with the wt cell as well as between the different kd miRNA profiles. These analyses were important to define joint miRNA that could be of functional relevance and be of potential interest as therapeutic targets. miRNA analysis of pancreatic cancer cell lines A818.4 and Capan-1 subjected to Tspan8, CD151 and CD44v6 knockdown compared to wildtype controls. Cld7 knockdown was assesed in HT-29 cells. All samples are whole cell miRNA preparations.
