Wildfire in Evia Island, Greece (2025-07-26)

On the 26 July 2025 at 16:41(CET), a wildfire is reported to have affected the area near the village Pisonas, in Evia Island, Greece. The fire expanded rapidly; residents of Afrati and Dokos had to be evacuated, and a 112 cell-broadcasting message was sent for this purpose. Ground forces and aerial means are used for fire suppression, assisted by municipality vehicles and volunteer organizations.
