Electrophysiological (EEG)/Behavioral Dataset of the Effects of Facial/Vocal Attractiveness on Personality Trait Processing

The EEG signals were recorded using a 64 lead Ag/AgCI electrode cap (Brain Products, Germany) extended according to the international 10-20 system, with continuous EEG signals recorded under 100Hz low-pass filtering. The sampling rate is 1000Hz, and the scalp resistance of all electrodes is kept below 5K Ω. Using FCz as an online reference point, offline analysis is converted to using the average value of bilateral papillae as a reference. Experiment 1 is about the influence of facial attractiveness on personality traits. Some of the old data (presented in E-prime2.0) were recorded at once, while the new data (PsychoPy-2024.2.5) were recorded separately. Therefore, the new data was divided into two folders, corresponding to the behavioral data. Experiment 2: The influence of voice attractiveness on personality traits. EEG data was recorded twice, with each participant having two folders.
