Location influences on the extent of tree damage

The file contains forest damage data collected by the Flossenburg Forest Office on 30.7.1991 by aerial photographs. On the aerial images a grid with mesh size 250 m x 250 m was placed and at grid intersections (= clusters) the next eight spruces were evaluated by four trained assessors according to their condition. Of the original 995 clusters, 771 are included in the file after deduction of the missing values. In addition to the degree of damage, other covariables characterising the location were collected.
