In 2023, micro enterprises had the largest share of the number of employment among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Thailand, which accounted for 84.5 percent. In comparison, the share of large-sized businesses of MSMEs in the country only accounted for 0.5 percent in that year.
