HISTORY LIVING IN THE MUSEUM: ARTISTIC ANALYSIS OF JAVLON UMARBEKOV'S WORKS

This article analyzes the historical and artistic features of the work of the prominent painter Javlon Umarbekov. In particular, it sheds light on his manner of depicting historical events and the interpretation of figures in the works “Husayn Boyqaro and the Youth of Alisher Navoiy” and “The Great Flood.” The symbols in the works, their meanings, and the artist’s distinctive style are analyzed and evaluated from an art-historical perspective. This article aims to reveal the unique aspects of Javlon Umarbekov’s oeuvre and to determine his place in the arts.
