The Supreme Court Database is an authoritative data source covering cases adjudicated by the Supreme Court of the United States. It contains over 200 data points for every case heard by the Court between 1791 and 2024, including the adjudicating court, litigating parties, relevant legal provisions, and the voting records of the justices. The database is divided into two components: the Modern Database (1946–2024) and the Legacy Database (1791–1945), and provides analytical tools for researchers, students, journalists, and members of the general public. This database is generously supported by the National Science Foundation.
