Topics covered in this survey are economic conditions today and in six months time, inflation and unemployment, Government's economic programme, mining and exporting of uranium, opinion of Prime Minister Fraser and Labor Party leader Whitlam, Australia's slowing population growth, sources and types of migrants, assimilation of migrants, Packer's cricket series, interest in cricket; Government terms, party expect to win if election soon / end of next year, legislation to dismiss striking Government employees, and wage increases awarded by the Arbitration Commission. Standard variables are country of birth, education level, religious denomination, occupation of respondent and whether work for self or paid, occupation of head of household, age group, age groups of children in household, age group, age groups of children in household, sex, vote intention, vote at last Federal election, marital status, subjective assessment of social class, and whether on telephone.
