These datasets contain ASPEX-STEPS level1a data onboard Aditya-L1 spacecraft from 7th January to 10th May 2024.

Data Description ASPEX-STEPS contain Level-1 and Level-2 datasets in Common Data Format (CDF). The uploaded dataset in this repository corresponds to the intermediatory file generated while converting from Level-1 to Level-2. Both Level-1 and Level-2 datasets have been publicly available on the ISRO PRADAN portal (https://pradan.issdc.gov.in/) since 11th May, 2024. In this Zenodo repository, files covering the period from 7th January 2024 to 10th May 2024 are provided.. Following are the description of the different levels of ASPEX-STEPS data. Level-1: Raw uncalibrated data from the instrument Level-1a: Intermediatory file containing Counts/sec vs Incident energy information. To generate this file, calibration parameters were used. While Level-1a data can be used for scientific analysis, proper conversion of counts/sec to differential directional flux is required. Level-2: Science-ready data file containing Differential directional flux vs Incident energy in predefined energy bins.
