THE PARTICIPATION OF THE BASHKIR PEOPLE IN THE PEASANT WAR OF 1773–1775: NEW SOURCES AND CONTEMPORARY HISTORIOGRAPHICAL CONCEPTS

This research provides a fundamental investigation into the mass participation of the Bashkir people in the Peasant War of 1773–1775, framed within newly discovered archival sources and contemporary historiographical concepts. The study utilizes previously unexamined records from the Imperial War College, secret investigative commissions, and foreign diplomatic dispatches. Through comparative-critical methods, the socio-economic and legal consequences of metallurgical colonization and processes of ethno-social stratification are elucidated. Imperial, Soviet, and modern historiographical transformations are re-evaluated utilizing social anthropology and sub-nationalism paradigms.
