Studies of methane bioconversion to liquid chemicals

The microbial methane conversion to short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) process, while has been recognized as one of the most promising next-generation liquid chemicals production approaches, is still in its infancy stage, mainly due to the very limited understanding of the process.In this study, we broaden the current understanding on methane bioconversion to SCFAs by assessing the effectiveness of electron loading rate on biological methane oxidation.
