Red-River-Fault-Kinematics: Kinematics of Evolving Block Boundaries: an example from the Red River Fault, Southeastern Tibetan Plateau
收藏资源简介:
BLOCKS/ This folder contains all parameter and result files used in the BLOCKS modeling process. Kinematic_Computation_Along_Fault_Strikes/ This directory provides Python scripts for computing velocity components parallel and perpendicular to fault strikes. These computations are based on the Euler poles derived from the BLOCKS modeling. Restoration_of_Block_Positions_to_5Ma/ This folder contains scripts that reconstruct the positions of tectonic blocks back to 5 Ma. The restoration is performed using the Euler pole parameters and rotation rates obtained from the BLOCKS results, allowing visualization of long-term block displacements and fault evolution. Controls_on_Fault_Kinematics/ This directory includes the code used to evaluate the dominant control on the along-strike variations in fault kinematics. Notes: All scripts are written in Python and designed to be compatible with standard geospatial and numerical libraries (e.g., numpy, pandas, geopandas, shapely, matplotlib). Model input data and example output files are provided for reproducibility. Detailed parameter descriptions and usage examples can be found within each subfolder.
