Volume of domestic online wine sales in Italy 2019-2022

There is a before and an after the pandemic for online wine sales in Italy. In 2019, less than three million liters were sold via online retail. Three years later, e-commerce wine sales amounted to nearly eight million liters in Italy. The entire market has grown, including sparkling wine and champagne, whose volume went from 0.5 to 1.6 million liters in the considered time period.
