FORMING STUDENTS' MOTIVATION FOR LEARNING THROUGH INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION

This article comprehensively examines the theoretical and practical significance of interdisciplinary integration in the educational system and its role in developing students’ motivation for learning. In modern education, ensuring connections between academic subjects, helping students perceive knowledge holistically, and enabling them to apply it in real-life situations are considered important pedagogical tasks. In this regard, the article analyzes the content, principles, and methodological possibilities of interdisciplinary integration. The study discusses ways to increase students’ cognitive interest through integrated lessons, develop independent and critical thinking skills, foster creativity, and improve the effectiveness of education. It is also substantiated that the educational process organized on the basis of close interrelation among different subjects contributes to deeper knowledge acquisition, development of logical thinking, and formation of practical competencies among students.
