Rapid Design and Analysis Tool - CGI

This tool calculates the design loads on a reinforced concrete special moment frame with a corrugated galvanized iron roof, determines force and moment demands through an approximate portal frame analysis, assesses load combinations, evaluates the capacity of members compared to the demands, and approximates the cost of needed construction materials. It was produced by MSCE student Christianos Burlotos in order to parametrically assess frames to determine the best-fit frame for single-family homes in Leogane, Haiti.
