Supplementary Online Materials for "A Four-Dimensional Emotional Model for the Design of Bionic Machinery Installation Art"

To ensure the transparency of the research process, the traceability of the findings, and the reproducibility of the methodology, the supplementary materials related to the development of the four-dimensional emotional model are systematically presented in the appendices. These appendices include the collection of emotional semantics and lexical extraction, the classification and organization of influencing factors, word-frequency statistics, the coding process and results for merged emotion words, the compiled distribution data of 21 PAD emotion words from 50 participants, the emotional intention mapping of the sample space, and the emotional coding results across three iterations of the Octopus artwork. In addition, the appendices provide the raw PAD rating data for the Pea Flower and Tail artworks, as well as the raw ECG experimental data for the Tail artwork. Together, these materials offer comprehensive support for the theoretical construction, coding analysis, workshop experiments, and physiological experiments discussed in the main text, while also enabling readers to further examine and interpret the research process and conclusions.
