Data reported in the file represents sequences of data generated by a mathematical model representing the bearing vibratory signature within outer race and inner race fault. This model describes the impact produced by the outer or inner race defect at each passage of a rolling element according to time. The degradation is generated by increasing the amplitude of the vibratory signature exponentially. The ".mat" data file contain 2 type of fault outer race fault (BPFO_scenario) and inner race fault (BPFI_scenario), where each type of fault contains 20 generated sequences with different degradation speed. The degradation speed is generated by using different number of vibration signature window from high to low speed: 30, 50, 65, 80, 100 time cycles, while each degradation speed is generated 4 times by modifying the parameters that influence the signature randomly +/- 5%. Each window has 16348 number of samples with a sampling frequency of 51.2 kHz.
