Spatiotemporal network analysis of the AvianMetaNetwork across North America, 1970-2023

This data package includes data and code for quantifying the spatiotemporal structure and function of the AvianMetaNetwork, a metanetwork of bird-bird interactions across North America. The interaction data are combined with the North American Breeding Bird (BBS) Survey, from 1970-2023, to quantify network structure and function at the scale of ecoregions (Bird Conservation Regions), as well as at the continental scale. These data support analyses presented in the manuscript “Six decades of change across all North American bird interaction networks” (DOI to be added upon publication). The AvianMetaNetwork dataset for North America is archived at the Environmental Data Initiative repository (https://portal.edirepository.org/nis/mapbrowse?scope=edi&identifier=2278&revision=2) and will be publicly available upon the publication of the data.
