Isolate Tvb1 was found to be the most efficient tolerating even at 50⁰C, 200 mM NaCl concentration, pH up to 11. This isolate showed 92% antagonist effect against Sclerotium rolfsii. In the pot experiment Tvb1 isolate showed significantly enhanced the growth (shoot, root and dry wt.) and yield (number of pods/ plants) of lentil plants in comparison to un-inoculated untreated plants. Application of Tvb1 also delayed wilting in lentil plant by twelve days compare to inoculated plant with (Sclerotium rolfsii) pathogen.
