The impact of Oulema melanopus associated bacteria on the wheat defense response to the feeding of their insect hosts

The aim of study was to elucidate the wheat plants' reaction to Oulema melanopus feeding and to disclose the O. melanopus associated bacteria modulation of the wheat-insect interactions.That kind of research can provide a better understanding of the three-way interactions between wheat, CLB, and its microbiome, and help improve the integrated pest management strategies to limit damages caused by the CLB.
