Three strains of Burkholderia, isolated from the rhizosphere of maize cultivated in the northeast of France, were evaluated for their antifungal activity. The strains exhibited antagnosotic activity agaginst a set of phytopathogenic fungi and have a promising plant growth promoting and biocontrol activities in grapevine.
