Certification of health facilities for quality of care (deployed reference 2021-2025)

In place for more than 20 years, [certification](https://www.has-sante.fr/jcms/c_411173/fr/comprendre-la-certification-pour-la-qualite-des-soins#toc_1_11) is a mandatory and independent assessment of the level of quality and safety of care in public and private health facilities. It is carried out every 4 years by health professionals (peers) mandated by HAS: the experts-visitors. The evaluations are based on a [reference](https://www.has-sante.fr/upload/docs/application/pdf/2020-11/referentiel_certification_es_qualite_soins.pdf) structured around [15 objectives](https://www.has-sante.fr/upload/docs/application/pdf/2020-11/affiche_certification_sans_logo_es.pdf) in criteria assessed by methods close to the field.
