Nanopore direct RNA sequencing (DRS) enables measurements of native RNA modifications. Modification-free transcripts are an essential control for detecting RNA modifications. However, RNA transcripts from a single human cell line do not sufficiently cover the transcriptome variation amongst human cells. We analyzed Nanopore DRS control datasets using in vitro transcribed (IVT) RNA derived from five cell lines. These data will serve as a resource to the community for RNA modification analysis.
