资源简介:

*Munich Votive Relief*. In a rural sanctuary a sacrificing family approach Asclepius, the god of healing, seated on a throne and his daughter Hygieia. In the middle, there is an altar, to the left a sacred plane tree and in the background a pillar with two small traditional figures of the gods. The Barberini Faun, a masterwork of Greek sculpture and one of the showpieces of the Glyptothek, the Medusa Rondanini, much admired by Goethe, and the famous Munich Votive Relief are united in this round room, which is modelled on the Roman Pantheon. Displayed at the Antike am Königsplatz in Munich. The museum displays Bavaria's collections of antiquities from Greece, Etruria and Rome. The sculpture collection, on the other hand, is located in the opposite Glyptothek and works created in Bavaria are on display in a separate museum. Ancient Egypt also has its own museum.
