The analysis of gravimetric data in the context of research into Brabant Massief was carried out in 2004 by the British Geological Survey in collaboration with GF Consult bvba and the Belgian Geological Service under the supervision of GF Consult. The study was commissioned by the Department for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Department of Economy, Employment, Internal Affairs and Agriculture of the Ministry of the Flemish Community (VLA04-3.1). The study was integrated into the previous study on the aeromagnetic data of Brabant Massief. This map shows the residual Bouguer gravity after deducting the anomaly field at an altitude of 1 km above the ground. The contrast between maxima and minima is significantly reinforced on this picture. The colours on the map range from dark blue (-4.77 mGal) to deep green (0.19 mGal) to red (3.53 mGal).
